A while back I was pretty annoyed that there wasn't a real easy way to modify the ACLs and port numbers on Windows servers. I needed to be able to modify the security permissions on over 50 different servers to include a new group, and logging on to each one of them wasn't an option.

I didn't want to use .NET because I wanted something small and flexible that could be run from anywhere. If I was writing this program today, I would use .NET
